Tapestry Workforce Strategy began long before it had a name. We first worked together in career services at an educational institution offering IT and cybersecurity training. There, we supported job seekers, including veterans and military-connected learners, as they worked to translate new skills and credentials into meaningful careers. Even after our professional paths separated, our shared commitment to helping others continued. We also found ourselves walking a similar line in faith, with a shared belief that our work should be rooted in service, integrity, and the desire to use our God-given strengths to support people in meaningful and practical ways.

🏅 We completed our Certified Professional Career Coach certifications together and began building separate coaching businesses. During one early business-planning exercise, we each listed the other as a future board member — a small decision that would later feel much more significant. For the next year and a half, we worked side by side as accountability partners. We exchanged ideas, supported one another, and continued serving clients independently. Yet neither business felt fully aligned with the impact we believed we could create.

Then the job market began changing rapidly. ⚙️ AI was becoming part of the job search, but many people did not know how to use it strategically. Some avoided it, while others used generic prompts that produced impersonal résumés, unclear messaging, and content that sounded like everyone else.

We saw a better way. As Brittany expanded her expertise and became an AI Certified Strategist, and Joyce strengthened her skills as a Certified Project Management Professional, we recognized how naturally our strengths fit together. Job seekers did not need more disconnected templates, prompts, or career tips. They needed experienced guidance, a clear strategy, and practical support that combined the power of AI with the insight and accountability of human coaching. They also needed support that honored the whole person, not just the résumé, the LinkedIn profile, or the next job title.

🧵 That realization became Tapestry Workforce Strategy. The name Tapestry reflects how we view every career journey. A person’s professional story is made from many interconnected threads — their skills, experiences, values, challenges, accomplishments, and goals. Our role is to help job seekers recognize those threads and weave them into a clear, compelling, and marketable professional story. We also believe people should leave with more than short-term guidance. They should gain AI tools they can use, knowledge they can continue to grow, and career tools they can keep long after their work with us ends.

Today, we combine human-centered coaching with practical AI strategy to help job seekers clarify their direction, communicate their value, strengthen their professional brand, and move forward with confidence. 💡 We do not believe AI should replace the human element of the job search. We believe it should help people think more clearly, prepare more strategically, and show employers the value only they can bring.

Tapestry Workforce Strategy was built by two professionals whose paths continued to reconnect around the same purpose: serving people with integrity and preparing them to navigate the future of work with clarity, confidence, and a strategy that remains deeply human. At the center of that purpose is our shared faith, our belief that God gives each person strengths, experiences, and purpose, and our commitment to use what He has placed in us to serve others well.
